has anyone here ever fitted fogs?

has anyone here ever fitted fogs to a mk2 ph1, i have the lights in, i know i need the new stalk but what loom do I need and where does it plug in, i have no idea cant find anything.

any help is appreciated

yes front fogs, ive fitted the lights in and thats it, it a mk2 ph1 btw

Tbh mate, getting them to work with the stalk etc is such a git its not worth it, I ended up hard wiring them.

I bought the full kit from Renault, it came with everything needed - fogs, brackets, stalk and loom.

If the loom isn't already there then you'll struggle to do it OE. Better off hard wiring them as said above.

Loom probably won't be there, mine wasn't, if you look at the fuse box in the side of the dash, there is a space for "fogs" (look at the symbols) if there is no metal in this hole (i.e the fuse won't go in as there is nothing to hold it)

If this is the case, hard wiring is easy enough and can be made to look quite OEM.

A little switch next to the headlight adjustment is best IMO.

what would be needed to hard wire them?

1x fuse
2x battery/earth connection's
1x lenth of wire
1x connecting loom (if you dont have it, not the end of the world)
