Head unit which works with Steering stick

CAn any 1 help me, I have just bought a 2000 clio 172 sport. It has a standard cd head with a 6 cd changer inder the drivers seat, I want to put an mp3 head unit that works with in the hand stalk in the car, also if possible keep the 6 cd changer. Any ideas on what sterios are on offer? if there isnt, has any 1 tried amp'in the standard sterio? does it sound any good?

any help would be great.

I have a 2003 53plate 172 fitted with a Sony headunit and a connects2
adapter so I still have the HU display and sterring controls.
The adapters are available at Halfolds or from www.connects2.com

MOST Sony, Alpine and Pioneer HUs work with the Clio Stalk adaptor.

Best way is to go browse Halfrauds to see what you like, then confirm it works with a stalk adaptor. Then go buy it cheaper online

As for the CD changer, i dont think you can use it with a new HU, i maybe wrong tho.

Thanks for the help, i already have a cheap sony mp3 player, will go to halfords and ask if that will work with the hu and the stalk control.
