Headlight washer blank plates

  RS Clio 172 Cup
Hi people,

My 172 Cup hasn't got the headlight washer blank plates. Anyway i'm not prepared to pay silly prices for a square bit of plastic.

I saw on here somewhere that someone used a rubber gromit or similar to fill the holes in. Anyone know what this could be?

Cheers
Mark

could have been my car you saw. just go to halfords etc... and get a small variety pack of rubber grommets. or measure the hole in the bumper and buy the correct size grommets. they are very cheap. not like the cup plastic things.

Gromits won't do for a perfectionist though :dapprove:

I have a spare set brand new if anyone wants.

Streamline Carbon will make you a set for £25.

Its either the grommit (which though is cheapest option, doesn't look good)
Smoothed over (dearest option, but do need the front bumper respraying, so get it done then)
Or Carbon ones as above (best option but wanted some either black or Mondial blue) can you paint over carbon???

I bought a set for £25 a few months back. Just e-mailed them as they are not on the website. Not fitted them yet right enough.

makes me laugh how people say that grommets dont look good. more subtle than the cup blanking plates, and if filled/smoothed over/painted you cant put the washer jets back in.
besides, the r26r comes with rubber grommets where the washer jets usually are! and no one complains about that! lol.

Not that they don't look good, just isn't perfect for me.

You're forgetting one thing.

IN THEIR OPINION.
