Headunit from America

I've just had a text from a mate in the states, can pick up a new alpine headunit uber cheap. Will it work over here? Ie are the connections all the same?

The Tuner won't work.

CD will though, connections are the same.

Is it just the connection for the radio, or more fundamental?

Radio is generally s**t these days, only thing worth listening to is Zane Lowe. As long as its running iPod connection, that would satisfy me.

im sure they have wider range of frequencies ive got a us mp3 player with a radio which works fine

the radio will work fine.

not sure what frequencies ye have for a radio station but lets say its 91.4FM the USA radio will pick the frequencies up at 91.3 or 91.5

it will still work perfect do.they just pick up on odd numbers

yes agreed - usa radios pick up odd numbers only - i had one for a while - but in the end i got rid due to not getting galaxy in my area and got fed up of chris moyles!
