Headunit memoery loss...

Fitted my headunit yesterday and soon found it was not remembering pre-sets and other settings.

No problem, just switch the ignition & constant feed over but that doesnt seem to have worked.

Here's what I have...

The iso-block from my old Alpine HU doesn't have the constant feed in it, instead I have a large fuse box and the seperate yellow lead you can see.

Which (if any) from the cars iso-block is it? the purple/red one next to the bright blue (remote) lead? Or will I need to run a feed in from the engine bay?

Thanks in advance,

ahhhh sorry bud, i thought you were refeering to the alpine loom, my bad

S'alright, it's a very old unit. Brought it waaaay back when I was in year 8/9 at school and had a fair bit of kit running in my room off a mains inverter

Served me well and still going strong! Quite a high spec still compared to alot of the newer units with higher rated voltage pre-outs that you normally get.

Have threaded the AUX cable through the glove box instead so I can hide it away :)
