Heater Resister Pack

Where is it?

I was under the impression it was under the windscreen. Below are some photo's of where I thought it was. But I just found a metal fin thing.....forgotten the technical name for it.

thats the rheostat you have taken out mate?

^^ Same thing. Yep thats it, its in the airstream to cool it.

So where am I looking to change the resister pack when i get my new one? Can it be seen on the pictures i've uploaded?

i take it your heater fan doesnt work properly? thats the bit you have taken out already!! just different names!

Yes, the air con unit seems faulty, and i've been told it is probably the heater resister pack. Am I supposed to be looking for something like this:

This car isn't the same as mine though and not sure if it is in the same place.

The unit seems to go on full speed when pressing the off button and the flow control buttons don't work. Here is my original thread: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=170197

These pictures aren't from me, they are from another forum thread started by someone else. I just don't seem to be able to find it on my car. I am using these pictures as a reference.

No thats ^ the resistor pack, no idea what the other one is.

It was the rehostat that was faulty, I replaced it tonight.
