Heater Resistor Fix - Which Transistor?

Hi guys, heaters/blowers on full chat! Well known fault I know.
Took heater resistor out, split apart black box and now i am lead to believe that the little black transistor with 3 pins inside the risitor is the problem. Any idea on which one I need to order?

A previous thread listed maplins but that particular one is now extinct lol.

Any ideas part number resistor size etc and where to get from?
