HEL Braided Lines Fitting question

Purchased some HEL lines for my PH1 a few months ago and went to go fit them today but discovered the OE lines have splines in them at the hose end which I presume are there to prevent any twisting motion occurring of the lines.

The HEL Lines though don't have the splines and appear to need to be either forced through the bracket or alternatively have a little bit shaved off the inside of the brackets splines to get them to fit through.

Just wondering how those of you that have fitted these lines have done it ?

I have Hel lines on my ph1.

No problems at all. Just push them through the hole.

Hold both end's with spanner when doing them up.

Thanks, looked like it was going to require quite a bit of force to get them in as I certainly couldn't push them through by hand.
