- Helllppp (bucket seat’s)

  Gay Clio 172 phs1

Just ordered A (just the one) ;) Cobra Suzuka Fixed back Bucket seat As below:

http://www.cobraseats.com/imx/suz_bkbl1.jpg

Its fixed back with side mountings... Just wondering if anybody has fitted a side mounted bucket seat into their clio?

Ive got a vague idea on where to bolt them, just wondering if ill need to get any kind of rails welded.

Regards

Why just the one ? Is it just for draggin ? I would imagine that fitting would be the same a normal bucket !! Nice choice BTW !! Where did you get it from and how much ?

weight saving lol... :D

£330 with the mounts in kevlar Not bad for 7kg :D

There totally different from the usual fit ment of seats as these need to be directly bolted to the floor pan.

have u sat in 1?? cos they come really tight, and u might wanna order the wider version for comfort.... u need to take old seat out with the runners, then unbolt runners from chars bolt side mounts to runners, then bolt runners back in to car and bolt on the seat.

Not yet bubbles, Yeah ive sat in on and they are really tight But im pretty skinny so they hold me well :D

Ill take the rails off the seats tonight and see whats happening.

Cheers

Yup, Malice is right, its not direct to the floor, with the sidemount seats you bolt the sidemounts to the cobra subframe for the clio, and that then bolts to the runners from the clio AFAIK.
