Hello from Suffolk

  328I 206GTi
My Brother has a Williams 3 and love driving it.

I'm thinking of getting a 172 or 182 (spotted a few on eBay)

I get the feeling a 172/182 will be similar performance to a Williams.

I am worried about the cam belts, is it possible to buy the tools and is there a D.I.Y for it?

Hi another Suffolk guy:) what part you from?
Id just get a garage to do it if you were worried but could ring and get quotes before considering buying one

Near Stowmarket!

I will have a ring around, but also now looking for cars which have had it done already

It's best to find one that has already had it done, just make sure they can prove it! I don't think you will go far wrong with a 172/182 I've had mine 6 month now, best thing I ever bought.

Welcome along mate

Either try and get one that's had the cambelt done recently and properly by someone who knows what they are doing or get a few £££ knocked off

I'd personally take it to one of the specialists off here who have the proper tools , knowledge and experience of doing them

Too many horror stories of back street garages or diy'ers trying to tipex time these cars

Thank You, yes it's beyond me to do one so decided to buy one with proof of belt change or a large discount.

I've just seen a nice 2004 182 go for £1,550 with belt changed (in description) on eBay
