just checking in! I know a few local lads on here but for the rest...
Iv bounced about the marques a fair bit over the 7 years iv been driving and always had a thing for french cars (had a vtr, 2 vts' and a R5 GT-T)... After being in the honda and vag/german scene for the past couple of years i woke up, looked at my mk4 golf gti and decided it had to go.. I dont know what set it off but something was pushing me towards some sort of clio sport! after test driving a 197 i seen a 172 cup up for sale (for the price of the deposit of the 197)..
My curiosity won me over and decided to go and have a tyre kick, 20 mins later the Logbook had been signed and i was driving it home before i knew what had happened! I was well impressed with how it drove and altho the 197 was a beautiful car and drove well (those brembos by the way, holy f**k!
) the 172 just felt like it was more "connected", a bit more feel plus i didnt have the finace re-payments! :clap:
