Hello Newbie electirical fault.

picked up my 172 on saturday, great car...
However my friend tried to fit a stereo i think has blown a fuse. I cant get any display where the clock should be or where the climate control is.
i also dont know where the fuse box is on these cars
Any help would be appreciated

The fuse box is on the side of the dash on the passenger side.
When you open the door you should see it, you pull off a cover thing.

What phase 172 have you got?

If you're f**king about with a cars electrics why do people not disconnect the battery? I mean how hard is it. basics.
