Hello people buying a 182 soon have some questions

Alright people currently own a Toyota starlet glanza rep. Pretty fun car on bc coilovers all round, obx racing exhaust manifold and corrola intake. Been on a few track days with It and these clios 182s seem to fly so I fancy getting one at the end of the year. Price range is £2500. Just want to know what to look out for when buying common problem are these reliable best handling mods and performance upgrades but handling first. Cheers

Belts and Dephaser done by a Renault Specialist, as the timing on these engines is very sensitive.

Cooksport springs on Cup shocks seem to be a popular choice handling wise if you can't afford coilovers.

In fairness, you may want to try the stock kit first and not immediately go for the coiliezzzz route.
Remember, RenaultSport poured millions of cash and thousands of hours developing the set up to be that which earned the car the rave reviews it got at the time.
An hour at the alignment shop with some slammed, rock-hard set-up isn't going to be the same.
....of course, many on here will now proceed to disagree :smile:
