Help 172 non starter URGENT!

Cheers for looking guys, I just got up this morning go into my car put the key in tried to start it all the lights went on and off like crazy and no noise from the starter motor at all, the clock was at 0:00 and everything was reseted. Anyway I jump started it and drove it for about an hour, when I parked I was confident that if it was the Battery that went flat theat it would start but still no noise or anything from the starter!!!!! Do you have any suggestion the only thing I can think is that the starter motor is fckud or the battery is not getting charged... Help required asap please let me know what you think.

starter motor or battery mate probabylt motor that has not given the battery any charge call out the aa rac if you have one mate and get to have a look for sure

I dont have cover (stupid me!) but I would have thought that it would have charged driving for an hour!!

tru mate something is a muck for sure for the clock etc to have reset them selves etc then this is defo battery orientated sorry i could not help more mate

Battery, happened to me...
Charge it!!

if you can get the car to a local kwik fit type place they will run some checks for you and check what part is not working as it should etc

when the ignition is on is it clicking?
Try charging the battery and cleaning the earths for the starter motor with a wire brush, my mum had the same problem on hers.

try the alternator wires too, there only thin and corrode easily

Guys sorry forgot to post the results.......... The battery was sh@ged so just bought a new one... all that hasssle for such a small thing.
