The first one - £3k - oops sorry that's sold now TO ME
!!!!! fleet car FSH 36 page service portfolio 2 owners - YE-HA!!!
back to you Maz, sorry I had a bit of a funny turn then...it's been an emotional week what with selling my Cup but it looks like I've got another RS + 3k in the bank...
I would max your budget of 5k, get as lower miles as poss with full Reno service history from a dealer who will give you a min of a 3 months warranty, it will cost a little more than some of the private ones but you'll get piece of mind which is important when buying a used car if you are not mechanically minded/ an engineering geek (like some on here lol)
On the other side of the coin and at the lower end of your budget don't be put off by high milers with FSH, once the Cambelt has been changed you have 70k+ of 'normal' servicing + if it's been looked after it will have lot's of new parts on it...wheel bearings/brake discs/exhausts etc - a genuine seller with have all the receipts from work done and you can then build up a picture of the cars life and the owner - if you do decide to get a high miler I would get it inspected by AA/RAC etc so you get your piece of mind and a bargain as well.
good luck, I'll keep an eye out down here
