I drive a twingo rs and could do with some advice.
Ive just started my car and as soon as the engine started it basically sounded like there was a bag of spanners in my engine! My dad heard it in the living room!
It did it on Sunday too but I didn't pay much attention as it was only a slight noise.
That was so loud! I stopped the engine immediately. As on sunday, I started the engine again a few mins later and it was fine.
My dad seems to think the main bearing must be dry? Hence the noise the first time the engine is started.
So annoyed as there is noway I'll be able to replicate the noise at the dealers without parking it up for 12hours first.
The noise didn't subside tonight until I turned the engine off.
Definitely a rotating noise and a bag of spanners is the only way to describe it
