help fitting steering boss - ektor

Hi, hope someone can help.

just bought a steering wheel & boss and bit stuck fitting it.

its a Ektor boss?? ive seen it fitted so it must fit somehow.

ive removed the wheel and left with this (robbed pic of guide cheers topgeartom)

thing is, the back of the boss looks like this

so how do i get the plug and airbag strip through? does the black plastic clip holding the wires etc unplug somewhere? i guess enlarging the hole is the easiest but i cant see where the plastic clip supporting them all goes or unplugs

help anyone??

This is the problem 182 owners with cruise control have.
A momo boss has a larger hole so you can fit the connectors though.

sorry its a Ph1 with no cruise.

Elongate the hole or purchase a different boss.

im not too worried abut the actual plugs, rather the plastic support that sticks out, (at 8o'clock from the splinned shaft on the top pic)

does the loom unclip from this so the actual boss gets to fit

what do i d with this plastic bit that faces out to the driver so the boss fits onto teh splines?
