HELP! May have dropped a pipe into Gearbox!

Is there anyone with experience of the gearbox internals who can help! @NorthloopCup ?
I was filling up the gearbox after an oil change via a small hose and a funnel that someone lent me and when I removed the pipe it dawned on my that there was a 2” piece of smaller pipe that should have been on the end.

I’ve searched everywhere in the engine bay but I can’t bloody see/find it so I’m thinking it’s in the bloody box.

I’ve had a look through the filler hole with an inspection camera that arrived today (see attached video)

If this 2” pipe was in the box would it be easy to spot via the camera!???

I’ll more than likely take the bumper/radiator out over the weekend as it will allow me better access with the camera, but I thought I’d embarrassingly ask on here first!

Cheers,

Pete

Yeah but mine was a silicone hose piece

Diff has been fine for now... But the engine decided to f**k itself
interesting, out of interest how big a piece was it? how long did you drive it for before changing the oil & could you see bits in the oil!? mine is a clear silicone/plastic 2" tube a bit thicker than a pen/pencil, I think the only option is to finish filling it up will oil and take it out for a drive.

About 2 inch long, maybe 3 on a warm day

The oil is still in there, I was due to change the oil after going to the Nurburgring, but then I got home, life got busy and then the engine decided it wanted no more of this world
