help me choose seat ...

  MKIII 138

ok in a month or two once i have purchased my 172CUP im wanting some race seats that are reclinble just in case anyone needs to get in the back. i dont want to spend anymore than £350 per recliner i have seen a nice blue trim black sides Cobra Opus..

should go with the Cup colour and there not too pricey.

any others i should be aware of ? i had my heart set on a sparco torino as they look really nice but apparently sparco dont do brackets so you would have to fabricate one yourself and iam a complete numb nuts at stuff like that, also id like to retain seat integrity for safety.

obviously if money was no object then id have these

lightweight Missano R drool.

is there any point in choosing a really expensive seat ? i.e the Opus weighs 14kgs not bad really compared with 22kgs of the stock seat (missanos are more like 8kgs)

so basically £250-350 for a new supportive recliner which has proper brackets so i can fit them into a cup, ohh finally should i get two ? i know it will look odd but im driving right and then i could get a missano. i think its best to get two though.

ideas peeps ?

lol mate, your going all out on your new project i see. i thought you were nuts removing the engine cover and spare wheel for weight lol.

Goodluck with it, i want pics of the new motor :)

Recaro Pole Position are about the lightest and still comfortable for road and track use. They are TUV stickered and you can get brackets to fit Clios and still run seat belt tensioners. I have done about 8k in mine.
