help needed

a female friend of mine has got a 182 only a couple of weeks old her boyfriend floored it for a bit and the serivce lights has come on any ideas ?. I told her just to take it back to the dealers their should sort it out

Could be anything probaly a toxic sensor though.

I collected my new 182 yesterday, the service light came on 3 times, twice after driving through deep puddles. Each time I switched the ignition off and on again and the service light went out and stayed out. The handbook suggests to check the oil, mines OK. It hasnt come on today.

Overall its a wonderful little car, even when you dont push it because its new. I love it. The only downside is it had 145 miles on it when I picked it up, despite the dealer originally saying 6 miles is typical.

145 - sounds quite a lot. Dont suppose it matters though as long as the cars ok. Mine had 37 on it.

mine had 18,300 miles on it when I got it
