HELP ON HEAD UNITS PLEASE

Hi all,

I want to buy a blaupunkt, alpine or sony head unit but, I want to keep the factory alpine CD changer in my 172 MK2 (2002/3 model).

Will Alpine head units plug and go? If not is there an adaptor?

What about the other two brands? Is there a brand I am missing that will operate the factory changer?

Also interested in keeping the steering remote working and am aware of cables for this, but model numbers and places to buy would be appreciated.

sony works for display and stalk controls. £50 u can get a connet2 adapter or a autoleads one. Theyre both as good as each other. I have connect2 on a sony and although fitting it was a little difficult (not much room behind HU) it was worth it in the end.
