Help...rains here

Ive had no problems with my dynamique apart from the odd squeak, but yesterday morning after the rain started after a very long time i realised a leak in my car above my head and around the interior light. I have NO idea where the hell its coming from! anybody know how i can get rid of this? I think it may be the sunroof.

could well be sunroof, the mk1's usually suffer with the arials leaking but they changed the position of the mk2ph2's my sunroof leaks sometimes after really heavy rain but mines a mk1 with the old style roof. you may end up taking the headlining down to have a look where its leaking from when i rains or u get a mate to spray the hose over it while u look!?

it leaks VERY slow tho, as if the hole is tiny. Thats why i cant figure out where its coming from? is there anything i can reseal the sunroof with?

Tried the headline out and hose pipe trick, couldn't find a thing. Seemed to only be the rain on mine, used to gush out. So much so that it went through my trousers and boxers before. So I sold it:rasp:

sunroof needs re-aligning - happened to me and got my reno tech mate to fix it.

Thikn reno wuld charge a hefty sum to do this tho

Got the same problem in mine, noticed it more today in the bad rain...was worse going when turning right. I've previously cleaned out the water channels from the sunroof as well.

yea i have sunroof and its fine but i do get a leak form the passenger window somtimes any ideas? just need a new seal?

My old Mk1 sunroof leaked like a power-shower. Every time I turned hard left, water would piss down through the righthand corner of the sunroof and down into my lap. Solution: celotape and kitchen roll to soak it up. Classy.

Is the fix something that I can fix myself then or is it a job that the garage have to do and it costing loads?

The sunroof are very easy to take out mate. check the roof to sunroof frame gap push down around the roof around the sunroof there should be no gaps you can get new seals from renault these should be replaced everytime the sunroof is taken out anyway. I had a leak like that in a customers car and we changed the whole frame but the car was under warranty

yeh ive just got my car and i have a leak from exactly the same area???? what do/can i do to fix it?
