help water leaking 172

hi all went to fill my water up today for the screenwash and it filled up nicely went to do it a couple of hours later an there is nothing in it i put some in and it came out quicker than i put it in surely its not a hole is it an hose thts come off or anything i dont fancy replacing it it looks a mission to get off help please :S

Have you checked the headlamp washers for leaks, as these can drain the washer tank?

mo its coming from the bottom of the tank its gushes out straight away

Firstly this is in the wrong forum.

If it pours out the bottom have you checked to see the pipes that lead to the bumper and the bonnet are attached?

If you have used it during the frost with no anti freeze you could have split the hose.

ok can some one move it into the right fourm how do i get to it it looks a mission to get to it

it will be the rubber gasket at the bottom of the pump(s).

yeah someone said tht who i phoned today any ideas how to get at it to replace it

yea wipers off scuttle panel off then wiper linkage out then washer bottle out.
