Help Wid My Clio (Brakes)

Hey Guys & Gals,

Im a Newbie and just bought a Clio 1.2 8v W Reg 2000 model (mk2 phase1).

I was wondering could anyone point me in the direction of getting either Bigger Brakes or Better Brakes no limit to expense in mind. but ive heard bout changing hubs but i dont really want to be doing that cause im doing it maself i Dont really want to be dismantling in any way other than the calipers and disks.

Its surprising what a refresh will do. Does Renault sell a caliper refurb kit for your car? Also, when was your brake fluid last changed?

Presumably this is for road use, so simply changing the pads will make a noticeable difference. You could get some grooved/drilled discs but you won't notice anything beyond aesthetics.

Cheers its all been changed all brand new stuff its just the callipers dont look right on the car , they look to small and wanted some bigger looking 1s to boost the cosmetic looks but also for better braking .

ive looked on K-tec but they dont sell bigger brake kits for the 1.2 8v only just disks and pads but taa for the the advice

i was wundering if 1.4 or 1.6 brakes would fit with slight adjustments

i find k-tec are like demon tweeks

have plenty of bits (thats a good thing)

but i would only buy from them if i cant find it elsewhere
