help with 172

hello people, i have a clio 172 2002, i have been having a few problems as of late and need some help

right the immobiliser seams to be holding the car back from starting, the red immobiliser light will stay solid and the car will turn over 3- 4 times and not fire!

had to call the RAC to pick me up, he reset the immobiliser by the removing fuse method, and he told me he couldnt fix it its the main "something" behind the dashboard and it would set me back 600 quid. i think he said the uhc? he also said the relay wireing was fine he used a multi meter.

ive tryed so many methods of trying to get this started but no luck need deserate help guys

The light staying on solid is saying the immobiliser has been disarmed but there is a wiring fault which is stopping an important item from reporting in and so starting the car is prohibited.

Chances are the UCH itself is fine.
