Help with battery location (yes another one of these threads)

hey sporters,

i've been reading upon this for weeks now and i'm still very unclear of what is required parts wise and labour wise.

i am planning on purchasing a racing battery and locating it under the passenger seat. i was hoping is there anyone who will be able to perform this for me and explain what parts i require. i will pay someone standard rate for their time and will throw a haribo or 2 in.

any advise or offers will be greatly appreciated and i am willing to come to most areas around west midlands or just outside

why would you want the battery under your passenger seat?

do you track the car?

no i want the room in the engine bay for the filter and dont want to make a small boot smaller

Im thinkin of gettin this done myself but didnt realise it could go under the passenger seat !

yeah if you use a red top racing battery as they can be lay on there side.

Easy Job.

You need a Connection block, please done use a audio connection block this is so s**t! Mer do one for there cars and Bmw as there units are all rear mounted.

you will need a Bulk head through plug or if you want to do it cheap a gromet

some heavy justy power cable, cant remember the ampage....

battery and cage, earth strap and crimps......

we had to add a extra earth from the gearbox to the chasis as some time she would not start
