Hi all

  06 LY 182
Hi everyone,

Just signed up today, mostly to have a look about. I drive a Fiesta ST and I do love it. It's lowered with only a K&N 57i in the engine department. Photo below. I was wondering if there are many on here running the 197 cup? I would imagine running costs would be comparable to what I currently get, about 30mpg on mixed driving, average insurance etc etc. If I decide to stick with a new car, fwd hatch, I'd certainly give the 197 cup the first look when I go to change.

My brother has an ST and as said above whilst a very capable car the 172 is faster, hes just had a full milltek system and viper induc.

Also it is a better built car!

  A4 DTM/iceberg cup
tidy fez there. really nice cars, i was all ready to buy one of them but then i took a 172 cup out for a drive as it was sat there.

clio is a more involving drive imo

and i saved some dollar lol

hi mate and welcome

i also have an st as a second car. It is a very capable little car and as already said is better built than the clio.

who cares if its not as fast - at 27 bhp less than a 172 youd expect that.

however ive heard that the mountune one will outrun a 182 ;)

Very Very pricey though, i think its £1800 for the parts withought labour!

My bro was gonna get it done but think its only Ford Warrington that are doing it, a full milltek and Cosworth cams and a bluefin should see it roughly the same-ish for alot less money:eek:
