Hi, clio 182 owner here

Hi, just wanted to say a big hello to everyone.

I've just bought myself a black 182 04 plate. I've always wanted one and saw one on ebay that needed a bit of tidying but looked too good to refuse.

basically the guy ( small car dealer in Newcastle under Lyme ) has really done a number on me, it was listed with 12 months mot,It's up on sept first, it's got no chance of passing, was told its a good car that drives well, by the time I'd made it to the garage two miles away for some fuel a load of lights ( brakes, esp, abs, stop, serv ) had come on. Went back but the guy had gone.

i know I shouldn't have believed his description and I should have checked the paperwork but as I suffer with extreme anxiety and panic attacks as well as adhad this is almost impossible therefore I have to trust people's descriptions. Normally people miss small stuff out, scratches ect and I accept this as my problem, but this is more than I find acceptable. I can't really go through ebay I don't think as it was a classified advert not an auction or buy it now.

so I will have many many questions in the comming days/weeks I hope you will all bare with me as I try to sort out this whole mess.

Hi, thank, I'm actually from Nuneaton ( near Coventry ) I just picked the car up from neŵcastle under Lyme. As much as I know ill love it in the end I have a lot of work to do in not much time

Yeah it was a bit of a trek lol the drive back with a dash full of warning lights was worse though, the girlfriend didn't like the booming from the toyosport exhaust either which gave her much cause to moan about a headache all night lol I liked the noise though

id really love to but at the moment the car needs so much doing to it to get even close to passing an mot I'm gonna be pretty much slammed. Not even Stevie wonder would pass it at the moment lol

I will become a member soon, if I don't give up and drive the car off a cliff lol

the guy where I bought it from is not answering the phone, won't respond to my emails or ebay messages. It's doing my head in. Why be so dishonest.

If the listing states 12 months mot the seller has lied get in touch with trading standards in the morning you do have comevack my fathers in the motor trade i will get some advice for you tomorrow

Whitty if you need work doing on the clio the best place local to you is Fred@BTM , his garage BTM performance is based in Birmingham and he is a clio sport specialist with really reasonable rates! Good bloke too
