Hi, I have my nice 55 182 sport, battery flat wont start

Bought a new battery and fitted it, the car is mega unhappy now, as soon as you unlock beeps etc and won't start.
i have no idea what is wrong now. It does not seem to have read the key and disarmed.
can anyone help. I am not sure how to use this site yet.
