Hey,
I am currently looking at buying a Clio 172/182, depending on which I find first in my price range etc.
I was wondering if you guys could help me out a bit. My price range isn't huge so obviously I don't expect the car that I buy to be completely faultless.
Anyway, to the point, from your past experiences/knowledge is there any common faults I should be looking for when I go and look at a car? Any particular parts that commonly need changing that I should ask about etc? I obviously know how to look at the exterior/interior of the car for damage, but is there anything I should be listening for when I take it for a test drive, when I turn on the engine etc? I'm no mechanic or expert so any help you could give me would be much appreciated! I know i'm not gunna get a perfect car but at the same time I don't want a complete heap of junk that will cost me loads after I buy it.
