HID/Xenon manufacturer?

I was always wondering, is it known and public which factory makes the ballasts and/or bulbs for car manufacturers like Audi, BMW, Renault etc...

And could it be bought?

I've heard about Altonics...is that product worth, apperantly they are knows as top aftermarket upgrade kit??

Bosch and Hella make the units that are OEM fit on most German cars.

Altonics are a Japanese distribution company for goods made in China and Taiwan.

Read the threads on HID kits before you spend any money, they are illegal.
