That's pretty sweet dude, good work! I love Xenons for the light, but hate that Renault insist on giving you those monsterously ugly headlight washer jets sticking out of the bumper that completely ruin the look. I was insistant on finding an R27 without Xenons, just for the aesthetics of the bumper (and so I didn't have the auto lights to go wrong with that common fault - ditto with climate, so I didn't have that tripping issue either hehe).

Auto light fault? Whats that then? Well i'm the oposite lol. I HAD to have the Black surrounds as i think the Silver clusters somewhat cheapen the front end of the car? The Black clusters help 'mean' up the front end imo. I like the washers lol and will be retro fitting them

Hehe that's like my total opposite The auto light fault - I thought some people were having issues where when the headlights came on when it got dark the dash/instrument lights didn't and wouldn't come on some times? I don't have cornering lights, or Xenons and I'm not sure which ones I have -

Ah I've never noticed that there's different ones before to be honest! Those dark ones look good too - but I still don't like the washer jets though, it's the way they look close up in real life, but as you say, each to their own My ideal setup would be to have those black clusters now I've seen them heh, but without washer jets. So I guess, cornering lights, but no Xenons - basically what you've got now heh! No washer jets FTW mate

So do i and nothings fell off mine yet !! Just makes it look cooler !

I'm looking at getting a set of white-er headlights for my 172 Cup to match the smart crisp white (not chav blue for the record) LED side-lights fitted to my car, had a look at HID's but little worried about the legalities as I have no washer jets or auto leveling headlights like FF 1*2s......and want to be a good boy and stay on the right side of the law.......

I've also looked at 'xenon' (halogen/xenon hybrids) bulbs with '80% brighter' branding.......possibly phillips extreme......but not sure.......??

......anyone got any suggestions.....apart from buying a FF :rasp: lol

Yup Them Phillips ones will be fine. I had some Osram jobbies in my 172 Cup. Perfectly legal

Blast from the past this thread lol!!! Not sure on the painting side, but with the halogen cornering headlamps/ or xenon units the loom is different to them. They have different multiplugs for the cornering lights.......

They have the options of Xenons....... 172/182's didnt come with Brembo 4 pots as standard, so :rasp:
