Hifi/Seperates!

Hi, My old man is after a new sound system for his house, But it must have:

Tape Deck
Cd PLayer
Record Turntable.

HE doesn't need a radio, And i presume been seperates, HE would need an amplifier too?

Also some speakers, Obviously,

For between £200-£300. I know its not going to be Bose or Cambridge, But he is deaf in one ear anyway!

Any recomendations? I had a look on Richer sounds, and was doing quite well until i couldnt find tape decks lol?

cambridge audio is made by richer sounds , so be careful on what they reccomend,
this amp here is ace and i bought it for £250 6years ago

For your set up just get an amp and speakers and turntable/cassette deck, dont worry too much about Watts etc, anything over 60/70 is silly and for your pops anything up to 60 will do nicely

I posted a message last week about a friend of mine wanting a record deck to play some new vinyl albums he's bought and living in Aberdeen he couldn't find any and didn't really want to buy online because he wanted to look and try it first!

Someone had recommended Richer Sounds but the closest place was Edinburgh or Glasgow! Where abouts is your dad Crazy Clio?

also look at second hand arcam alpha cd players/amps, u cant go wrong mate, they will sound better than anything you buy from richer sounds for £300

£300 all in, TBH it dont need to be seperates, Could be an all in one system, It just needs to have tape cd and record, And sound okish.

HE is upgrading from a Seperate system he bought 15 yearsa go For £900! It was awesome, But finallt given up the ghost.

Now he is deaf in one ear, Doesnt want to spend more than £300 lol
