High Oil Temperature

on my valver? It seems to be running higher lately, about 110, and this is at 40 mph.

Could it be the head gasket is fooked?

not really.

probs really really dirty coolant system.

Mine runs high and looses pressure as a naturaly......but thats at about 5000rpm 115 deg etc etc.

Do you think I should leave it for now, and get a coolant flush when its next time its in the garage?

when was the oil changed last? if it needs a top up, then top it up! I work on the theory that less oil is gonna get hotter or you could have a dodgy sender!

It was changed when I came to the uk about 3 weeks ago, it ran slighty hotter when I was on the motorway come to think of it, would that be down to the higher speeds? The oil level is fine

Will probably be down to a change in oil - but high oil temperatures are usually associated with increased friction somewhere.
