High Oil Temperature

on my valver? It seems to be running higher lately, about 110, and this is at 40 mph.

Could it be the head gasket is fooked? :(

not really.

probs really really dirty coolant system.

Mine runs high and looses pressure as a naturaly......but thats at about 5000rpm 115 deg etc etc.

when was the oil changed last? if it needs a top up, then top it up! I work on the theory that less oil is gonna get hotter or you could have a dodgy sender!

It was changed when I came to the uk about 3 weeks ago, it ran slighty hotter when I was on the motorway come to think of it, would that be down to the higher speeds? The oil level is fine

Will probably be down to a change in oil - but high oil temperatures are usually associated with increased friction somewhere.

im sure you do more than that ben to get the high tempatures your getting !..................ever thought of a lubricant ??;)

oh here comes the shady jokes! :)

Right ive used the words fooked, head, and hotter lets see what wonderful combinations you can come up with ;)
