High pitched rattling/vibration at high speed (video inside)

Hi

Not sure if this is the right area to post this, please move if appropriate!

When driving at above 110mph or so I get a very loud high pitched rattle coming from the dash/windscreen area. See video below from around 1m20s in!

Any ideas what could be causing this? It's definitely speed related as of you lift off/brake to go under 110 it stops!

Check the rubbers around the outside of the front window screen, especially the corner covers, they lift and can be a trap for air for noise.

Also under the wing mirrors, there are holes for the temp sensor both sides, but the drivers side has no temp sensor so can also be a noise maker.

But that sound is probably something else.

Just checked the rubbers they all seem to be intact! Any more ideas?

Get up to the speed which the noise starts at, then press hard on the whole reading light unit.

I bet it will stop !

It did sound like that sort of area! Is there a permanent fix, or just a case of pushing it back if it happens again?

check to see if any of the plastics in the inner arch area are loose. The force of the wind going that speed could cause a loose bit of plastic to rub on the tyre giving you this noise i had this on my RB when going over 70 though.

It stopped bothering me once I knew where it was coming from.

Not sure how to fix it tbh..
