Hillpower stage one kit

  cup 182 mit stripes
Has anyone had the Hillpower stage one kit fitted to their Clio?

The wording on the website appears a bit confusing to me, but he seems to be claiming gains of 12-16 bhp at wheels and similar torque gains. All this for a paltry few hundred quid!!?
If true, you would think that there would be a queue of Clios outside his works. Maybe there is.
Seems good value compared to a two grand cam kit.

phone him mate very very nice guy and to be honest he is a specialist and he says he can do it then why not?? each application which be different as no two 172 engines are the same really lol

just checked the website its an air filter and chip.

seems a bit on the optimistic side to me.

I was orginally going to get my engine work done there but phoned left messages on numerous occassions and did not get any reply. Perhaps he was busy at the time but it does not promote your buisness very well if you cant get back to potential customers.

I've had the same... I'm going to drive there next week and knock on his door lol

I understand he is a very busy guy - His work is in demand, and for good reason.

Perhaps he should employ a secretary.

Doesnt he want to make money out of his business? Most people expand when they have more work then they can do.

Tuning cars is one thing, running a business is another. People are rarely good at both. It's the nature of the car business. You just have to be persistant, especially if the companies work has a good reputation. Always had good communication from Yozzasport and GDI - and I haven't spent any money with either - yet (I lie, had some pads off Yozza). Never tried Hill Power, though the Ik he does looks mint.

When I bought my induction kit off him I found it best to get a hold of him in the afternoon. Spoke to him a few times then but never could get him early on (must like a lie in ;) ) Not sure about the stage one kit but the air filter I had was spot on. Would certianly go back in the future.
