I have the whole car mate.

Everything '172' that I can get on will be fitted.

Basically, in an ideal world, i'd like to just swap shells if that makes sense? I want as much 172 running gear as I can fit in it. I want a 172 car in a mk1 shell. (lol, I can't make this sound as good as it does in my head!)

Yep, I follow. If you stick with the valver driveshafts then give me a shout, I'm looking for some 172 ones at the moment.

Amazing how a bigger name on this forum generates 3 pages just like that from taking a few panels off!

It had been off before and required about 678 different tools to get it off. Ever heard of a 6mm being used on a bumper?? Or metal jubilee clips?!
