That is a massive increase! Just pissing about with fueling etc?

KPRO with exhaust, filters etc will see about 250bhp.
Yep. It ran 205bhp before and 220 after a play apparently. A company called Avon Tuning.

Would only feel comfortable with it done properly at a specialist!
Any engine tuning will be done by TDI North for sure.

I say this whenever TDI North are mentioned but take their figures with a pinch of salt. Standard 172's run either exactly 172 or above.

Their work is superb quality and I've never actually heard a bad word about them, but their RR figures are a little high, but if you get the car dyno'd as is, then get it dyno'd again by them the performance increase will be correct, just the starting and ending figures not so much, it's not like they increase the figures at the end to make it look better or anything, just in general it over reads.

Glad your happy with the underseal bud. [emoji2]

Thanks mate! It's been done really well and looks superb.

Yeah i've heard about that over the years when I had my EP3. Their quality of work and reputation speaks for itself though!

I have an rbc intake decat manifold teg m intake and k100 mapped by romain its dynoed at near 230 peak . But its the midrange where it all happens lowered vtec point and longer rev limit really does make that difference . Dont think id own another k20 honda without kpro/k100

Not much to update, only fitted a new secondary o2 sensor as the old one fucked itself up as they like to do!
The new one only cost me £15 inc postage and it has sorted the problem.

Also got the exhaust repaired. They fitted a new silencer in the b-pipe to sort of the baffles.
Went to Cybox and they did a great job for the price.

Bought a couple of bits that are waiting to arrive:
New sticky and slightly smaller plate for the front bumper, they tend to look better!
K-Tuned spring and pivot ball kit for the shifter.
Some pads to polish the headlights

Took her up into Wales yesterday. Did the Evo triangle and all round Bala etc. Was absolutely brilliant up there!
So much confidence with the standard Brembo brakes.

Wanting to buy Spoon springs or coilovers, but with trying to get a house sorted I can't justify them at the moment. 😧

Always been a big fan of Integra's bud, both the DC2 and DC5

In white, the just look 'proper!' they also look bloody good in 'Milano red' I've always loved a red car though!

Milano red with red recaros :)hearteyes:) is the epic combo, but SO rare!

Looking good. Always look at DC5s when I see them, it's just one of those cars that car people always spot out. I've never ever been in one.

Oh good morning.

Definitely do something about that ride height, eibach springs don't cost the earth.

That's the other option! Eibach Pro springs is what i'd probably go for so it's not really low. I had the sportline ones on the EP3 and that was pretty low.
Will have to get the arms and alignment done too. Probably get it all bought and fitted for less than £500.

If you weren't the other end of the country I'd tell you to come and try my Bilstein setup!

When I bought mine, it was rocking Eibach pro kit, ride height was decent..

That's a shame. :(
I think I prefer the Pro kit on the DC5 rather than the Sportline springs. That ride height looks pretty damn good!

Well next time you're in "that London"...

Pro kit wasn't too bad, I don't know whether it was the spring or damper rates but the oem/eibach combo was a bit fidgety for me. Especially on B roads.

Haha!

I thought my EP3 was like that when lowered. I think all Hondas get very jumpy and torque/bump steer-y! All part of the fun. :D

Surely you'd need torque for torque steer? 😂

I think it has a lot to do with the angle of the steering arms. They're way past horizontal even on standard EP3/DC5. I'm running a rack raiser on my DC5. And, on the EP3 I had when I ran coilovers, I inverted the track rod ends. Well, I say 'I', my mechanic friend did.

Bahaha! 😂
Interesting stuff too, rack raiser done much?

I'm waiting for that spring and pivot ball kit from K-Tuned to arrive for the shifter at the moment, cheap and supposed to make loads of difference!

Hard to say tbh as I had it installed at the same time as the Billys and rigid collars etc.

Tackled the K Tuned pivot ball and spring yesterday, what a c**t of a job that turned into. Ended up removing half the f**king interior! I hate split pins!
I also stabbed myself with a mini screwdriver, it was stuck in my thumb. LOL!

My OCD also made me tidy some more wires up.
Removed 3 HDMI cables from the car now. As well as a rear view camera and some aerial stuff. 😅 Japanese for you!

I was a bit unsure how much of a difference it would make but it's huge. Feel like the changes are so crisp and you can just grab and bang it into gear.

Great bit of kit for £25, just a t**t to fit.
