horn switch

when this stops working is it because it snaps or does it just come loose?

mine has gone and i want to know if i need the part before i start the job
also does the cover for the airbag just pull off

There clips at the back of the wheel for the airbag removal

iv just spent hours trying to fix my horn mate, and its a right nightmare.! i fitted a sparco wheel and when fitting the horn the wires shorted and melted all the way to the plastic that the wheel mounts on. took it all apart and had to solder new wire on. dont know if your fault is as serious - take off the cover on the steering rack and have a look at the black and red wires under the left indicator stalk and check if they look alrite)
