At the moment I've got two horns, the standard horn and an air horn. They're both on different circuits and different switches. (The original horn on the steering wheel and a dash mounted push button).
I want to have both horns operated on the steering wheel horn button.
So I was thinking, if I cut the two horn wires (red and black) in the steering wheel, wire them to a DPDT switch and have the original horn wires on there and the air horn wires on there, I could switch between the two.
The live for the air horns is in the car and the button I have at the moment is switched on the live. Would that make any difference if I wire it up like I suggested above?
Just wondering if anyone knew if that'd work.
