how 2 get ECU out of car?

Hi there. I am new to this site but have found it very helpfull so far.

I have an X reg Clio 172 and need toget the ECU out of the car.

I have had ago myself but cannot get it out of the car.

Can anyone tell me how i can get it out of the car?

You will have to undo the connector first, then the 10mm bolts (iirc there are 3) on the support strap and just pull like hell.

DO i need to undoo the 10mm bolts at the bottom of the ECU? As in under the ECU?

there will be three, as was said earlier.

you pull off a whole bracket thing with ecu bolted to it

Anyone know what size tork it is to remove the top cover omn the ECU?
