How many miles you done? Just looks like surface rust at joins.
Hard to tell from the pics tbh . Granted there is alot of surface rust , but its what the condition is like inside . My 172 exhaust looked pretty similar to yours on the outside , then the bugger fell off in B+Q car park .

That's what worries me, if it happens when I'm out somewhere...
I'd wait till it starts blowing.

The car will run without an exhaust, its not going to blow up or owt.
Just be loud, until you get it fixed.
mine looks like that, 3.5 years old, 26.5k miles, iv got a replacement sorted, not because i really need to but because i want it!
Well if it happens at b and q goe inside and buy some rope and tie it up lol.
It sounded a bit iffy before it had the MOT even :S
Iffy is nothing. When it starts to sound like a V8, that's the time to replace it.

Almost the same!
What are you replacing it with?

So the 182 Exhausts are as crap as the 172 OEM exhausts are!!!
I thought with all the failures and crappy design on the 172 exhausts, Renault would have though about the design of the 182 and made it better/stronger! :dead:

You really think that ? Renault want it to drop to bits so you'll go and buy a replacement off them . I'm sure i read somewhere they want £1500 for a full replacement .
Bit of scaffold pole welded in there should do the trick!
thats nothing like as bad as mine was when it started to go. BAsically they hold water and if you park on a slope it makes it worse as I found out.
Just be prepared to fit one soon or do it asap and forget about it.

Don't want it sounding like Tom's thanks lol, I'm not a kid
Seriously though, what do you think of my rust?!

My car gets used randomly which probably makes it worse.
I don't know what to get, read so much conflicting stuff :S

FPMSL
It was time to replace it about 6 months ago, when u asked me the last time.
You seem like the sort of person who just replace stock with stock IMO.
Well I don't imagine you with some noisy, boomy exhaust tbh.

Yes I do.
