How do i change the screen size? Pic inside

So i managed to get the wire i needed to put my laptop on my tv, but i really dont know how to make it full screen, hopefully this is possible :/
Any ideas you pc experts?

Right click desktop - screen resolution?

If not then it might be the cable. I have a 2560x1440 monitor and unless I have a dual link DVI cable I just get a small picture in the middle!

For it to be displaying like that, it's your tv settings you need to change mate.

or u could of pressed FN+F8 well it is on mine and it turns the laptop screen off and outputs automatically to full res 1920x1080
