how do i clean da coolant tank

Use some mild detergent on it and leave it for a while, shake it too!

a new bottle is like 39 quid inc vat, just had to buy 1 :/ but then it is nice and clean, plus i flushed it and my coolant is a nice pink colour

Teh only things you will brake are the daft pressure clips that renault use, just chuck them and buy some GOOD quality jubilee clips.. if your coolant is s***y brown then youll need to flush it quite a few times to get all the crap out.... remove the rad and stick the hose in that for half an hour. Take off all the coolant pipes and give them a good clean as they are normally crusty inside.. then take a toothbrush to the header tank

its no good just cleaning out the bottle because the brown stuff is all over your cooling system.

If you just do the bottle then it will fill back up with brown stuff.

You have to completely drain and flush the whole system theres an old topic on it if you search
