I know its not want you want to hear, but I can always tell a car thats been smoked in as soon as I open the door.

Why do people feel the need to do it?

When I was looking for my 172, I was put off two cars coz the previous owners had smoked.

Cant they just wait til they finish their journey?

surely a Magic Tree and some frebreeze and a long fast drive with all the windows open will help?

Unless your some kind of fag ash lil of course!

A gallon of 4 star and a zippo might do the trick :devilish:

Its funny how your boss is going to be getting your cast off company car :D,look him in the eye, tell him your the Daddy and if he complains about car smells you will punch him so hard he wont be able to use his hooter for a year.

Or like it was said..try Fabreeeeeze

just get a proper valet, one where they shampoo the carpet roof etc. I have mine done once a month at Citroen where me m8 works. Gets the smell of reefer out so ciggs should be easy :). Jobs a goodun.

my brother smoked in my car when i let him borrow it for 12 months, he shampood everything with an industrial carpet cleaner/vacume washer thing. i couldnt smell smoke anywhere. but my windows kept steaming up , turned out the water had formed big pools under the carpet and rear seats which werent sucked up by the vacume. so watch out if you try that.

leave the windows slightly open for a few days, that will sort it, just hope it doesnt trigger your alarm

In future just force yourself (and your mates) to follow my in-car smoking policy.. if someone sparks up its all windows open to the max.

Smell doesnt really linger..

Or you could try my policy. Someone sparks up..car stops...they are ejected..car drives off!;)

as easy at that sounds, i had a company car last week, and unfortunately due to the fact I am a smoker, waiting for my journey to end isnt as easy when your travelling from glasgow to manchester...

"I got a valeter in for my interior as it reeked of skunk, took him under an hour to make it smell like new."

Damn those mountainus roadents, they get everywhere! ;)
