How do I remove the rear wiper?

I want to refurb that 1/2 circle plastic bit behind the wiper on the rear window. Its all scrateched and faded, thought I'd spray it.

I undid a bolt on the wiper but it didn't move.

I opened the boot and removed the big plastic trim - there's 2 bolts there.....

am I missing something?

Usually they just pull off but they can be quite solid even after the bolt is undone!

you wanna put some trim gel on it off carwashnwax. bought mine up to look like new. its excellent stuff

anyone done it before ? I don't want to just undo that bolt and pull too hard.....but then also don't want to dismantle the entire mechanism if its not necessary,

tried puting a shed load of trim detailer, bit still greay and scratched....

you need a special tool to get it off IIRC, we used an angle grinder!

Nah after unbolting the rear wiper is glued down..just needs some force to pull it off.. its quite scary! haha..

with the nut off fold the arm up and wiggle it about, it will come eventually without damage.

ok thanks, will try, perhaps a few squirts of WD40 might help ?
