how do i use these things by hand

bought these and tried to use them yesterday but nowt seemed to happen

i washed it first with

so how do i use them properly

I'd guess using some microfibre clothes and a sponge applicator for the wax.

Not wishing to sound obvious but don't they normally say on the bottle what the best way is?

well i did what it said on the bottle but seeing as i have never polished or waxed a car before it didnt seem to do anything !
