how do they make a mould of bonnet/doorcards for carbon

ive searched the net and i cant find how you make a mould so you can make stuff like bonnets/door cards e.t.c e.t.c.
im going to have a go at doing some small bits on my car by 'skinning' them however i'd prefer to make a mould for the bigger stuff i may try.

I like you struggled to get any o/e doorcards in carbon ~~ I decided to just use kevlar/grp flat sheet,and just cover the whole inside of the door,with cut outs for the door handle,for my purpose ~~ a rally car with fixed perspex windows it is ok,but for your road car,less than ideal.
During my search for custom parts in carbon,I came accross this website.The guy makes carbon parts for the later model Clios,but will also do "one offs" ~~ although not cheap in this form,He will export,but I am not sure what his quality like.http://www.beirnaert-composites.be I think it is a belgian company.Nearer to home I have several contacts in the production of carbon/kelvar components,who may supply you with materials one is http://www.motordrive.com .He makes seats.pm for details on his discounts.

if u wanna do parts like that u'reself u'll need a vacuum former and a properly ventilated area, way to bigger project to carry out at home
