how do u stop mesh rust /.,

ive meshed my splitter on my car but odviously u cut it, ive coated it in clear laquer but it keeps rusting, whats the best way around it ? pm me ??

There isnt anything really you can coat it in thats clear. Try some silver spray hammerite, that will spray straight onto the rust and stop it rusting.

i want sum of that but where from ? its wierd right cuz i did the meshing behind my bumper in mesh from b&q and was cut to fit and never rusted, i bought the same design for my new splitter and all it duz is f**king rust !

might replace the full lot when the weather gets its arse into gear. hammerite is good sh*t, will try that, cheers ppl .

Stainless steel shouldnt rust ! must be cheap stuff.

easy people.

rub as much of the rust off as you can first dude.. use a wire brush or summat, otherwise it will be back through n laughin at you ina couple of months. got any rust treatment lyin around? throw that on then hammerite

i got sum waxy stuff, by hmerite, it says it reduces rust and stops it coming back so..... gunna spray the tw*t with silver hammerite and coat it with that wax, im doing all of it, ready for donny!!
